A Vermiculitum success

Vol. 19 No. 4 September 1999

by Lynne Turner

The patient is Tully, a 6-year-old Blue Heeler bitch.

Tully was unable to use her right hind leg. She held it off the ground and did not want to exercise. She was in a lot of pain.

The vet diagnosed a ruptured ligament, which could have been caused by a fall or, more likely, the dog being hit by a car. Surgery was recommended, but with no certainty of success and a cost of $1200. The owner was not keen on this course, and the outlook for Tully was grim.

Tully was given some homœopathic remedies which did quite a lot of good; the leg did not hurt so much when it was touched, but she was still limping.

In one of his books Hugo Wolf, a homœopathic veterinarian, outlines a regime for treatment with Vermiculitum: Vermic 6x, 2 drops three times a day for 21 days. A week later Vermic 12x, same dose, for 21 days; then after a week Vermic 30c, same dose, for 21 days.

After the round of this treatment Tully was completely normal - no limp, no tenderness to touch, and able to go for long beach walks without ill effect.

The Vermiculitum has been repeated in this fashion twice in two years if a slight regression was noted.

The owner does the whole three potency regime, and this holds Tully for a long period
