Dear Fellow Members,
It is my very great pleasure to welcome the first copy of a local magazine on Homoeopathy, and my personal thanks to the contributors and to Brian Murray who has put it together. We have been considering this venture for some time on two grounds:
(1) The continuing rising costs of the English magazine.
(2) The need for better contact with our New Zealand members.
This is a trial run, so that we can ascertain the advantages or disadvantages of producing our own magazine. One of your Executive’s great concerns is rising costs and our task is to try and reduce or contain them.
Homoeopathy is going forward in New Zealand. Dr. Lambert Mount and his wife and family have settled in Auckland and he has already a very busy practice. His meetings in Auckland have been very well attended. We had a further visit from Mr. John Ainsworth (Managing Director of Nelsons Pharmacy in London) during the year, and he together with Dr. Mount took one of our meetings.
Mr. Ron Male, our President, will be remaining in the United Kingdom for some time doing research work and working for Nelsons Pharmacy.
