About our journal - Homoeopathica
When the New Zealand Homoeopathic Society was formed its charter document emphasised that it was created to advance “pure” homoeopathy.
The word “pure” was used to convey the message that the Society endorsed the methods of Samuel Hahnemann and Clemens von Boenninghausen and people who follow fairly closely the example of these two homoeopathic greats.
The Society’s journal, Homoeopathica, strives to continue this tradition in the choice of many of its articles and its editorial position, but is not tied to pursuing this line exclusively.
The editor tries to have a balanced mix of reprints of old articles (sometimes translated into English for the first time), new material supporting the pure tradition, provings (old and new), items of interest with a practical application, research supporting homoeopathy, and news of legislative developments affecting homoeopathy.
Correspondence from readers is always welcome and expressions of views contrary to anything published, as long as not at a personal level, will be printed, too.
Payment is made for articles and good quality translations.
Homoeopathica appears five times a year (in February, April, June, September, November) and is printed in 24 page, small format, free of advertising.
A subscription costs $NZ25 for sending to a New Zealand address, $NZ35 for posting elsewhere.
